Notes on cartography by American cartographer, Erwin Raisz (1893-1968). So neat and precise. This makes me want to draw maps.
I think these are all from Raisz’s 1962 book, PRINCIPLES OF CARTOGRAPHY.

Have you seen this man?
If anyone recognizes this alien and can name the species, I’ll draw something for them, I have nothing better to do.
After googling it and scouring where it came from, I believe there is a single, solitary picture of it online (excluding this).
Right so someone on discord knew exactly what it was, down to the name, which was unexpected.
I do wanna keep this going though, just to see if anyone on tumblr knows it.

Currently trapped in “alien background character limbo”.
This dude’s name is Summer, because he only shows up for a quarter of the year, and it’s always the best part. The other three quarters of the year he dedicates to communing with the three “wizards”, the oldest inhabitants of the planet.
I like the setting I’m building around this guy though. I’ll probably elaborate on it more if I think of a solid name.
